Crafty Little Hands

Testing out the butterfly finger puppet for her birthday party on Saturday...

And a trial run for her CNY craft to share with her friends at preschool on Monday, the mark of the CNY celebration.  The template and instructions can be found here.  By the way, Nick Jr. will feature a CNY celebration with Kai Lan on Monday from 5 to 7 EST.
I think that these will be a hit!  The kit can be found at Hobby Lobby and includes everything you will need for 24 butterflies.

After a pretty crummy day at school, I was ready to come home and do some crafting with my little helper.  That always lightens my mood!

J.J. is doing very well after his surgery yesterday.  He came home with no post op stent so that was an answered prayer.  With so much make-up work that would cloud his weekend, he really wants to go back to school tomorrow.  Kids these days can't even  relax and recover for fear of missing too much school.  It is ridiculous!

I hope that your Friday brings lots of good things....

Crafting with my girls always lightens my mood after a difficult day!!! Such wonderful projects - I did not realize Tori's birthday is approaching and I am so glad JJ is on the mend. I think it is great that Tori will be bringing a CNY craft to school on Monday. Lily's class has her CNY buffet tomorros - 3 floors of traditional dishes!!

Crafting always makes everything better. Thinking of you and hoping your weekend is fabulous. Hugs to JJ and his continued recovery.

We've been making CNY dragons at school all week. We'll be reading the kids a book about CNY on Monday and handing out CNY stickers. I'm glad Sparkly's teacher is so open to anything.
You all have fun on Monday (and this weekend!)
