Golf Suits JJ to a Tee

One of the matches against Cherokee Middle...

One of the early season practices...We were thankful for unseasonably warmer temps this year, but there were some practices/matches that we froze!

JJ is very focused and really does a great job keeping the ball straight in the fairway.  He just needs more experience getting power behind the swing.

Getting it up on the green...

One of the first days of March...The view and the the Bradford Pears were beautiful up on the ninth hole.

Tori enjoyed the golf cart rides all over the home course at Emory.  She especially enjoyed picking (and helping maintenance get rid of) the little flowers on the fairway.

JJ and Hunter are the 6th grade golf masters at HMS.  These boys really came a long way in a short time!  This was at their last match at home...And they played in the drizzling rain!
Chris and I could not be any more proud of Jonathan.  He really has taken up with the sport and showed a lot of dedication and determination.  We have his golf instructor to thank...Samuel.  Plus his two golf coaches were excellent, and handled their team well.  They want the kids to learn the etiquette and the finesse, but they also want them to have a good time. I think this two month introduction to the game was well spent.  He and Hunter have already made summer plans to join up to practice...I think there will be lots of golf posts in my future!

I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day Cindy. You can see your son's dedication and joy in those photos on the golf course. You give your children such wonderful opportunities.
