Fourth Fun...Happy Independence Day!!!

This...
leads to this...
and finally this!!!
A Sunday evening swim before the firework display...

To make "sparkle tye-dye cupcakes"
You will need white-iced cupcakes, blue and red decorator's gel (Wilton's sparkle gel is great for this...found at Wal-Mart.), and toothpicks. (I used my cake tester as my tool. Tori used toothpicks.)
Make circles with your gel. Martha even said they didn't have to be perfect!
Take your toothpick or other tool and lightly make pie-shaped cuts in your circles of color. I did all kinds of designs with different techniques with more or less gel in different patterns.
The result...Cute 4th cupcakes! Thanks Martha!!!

We hope that your 4th is full of lots of fun and safe moments!

Nice cupcakes. Looks like you all are continuing to have some crazy summer fun. Like that Smoky Mountains pic.
You know they are growing up when they can do your yard work. Sniff-sniff.
R's Dad is going to be in Nashville this month for a week on business. Then, he is flying over to MI to visit his parents. It could be an interesting 10 days here, but at least he will have a little peace for the first time in 4.5 years.
Hope you are having a great week.
