At the Holiday Express train exhibit at the UT Gardens...A favorite stop on Thanksgiving Day for both kids!
Eating Thanksgiving lunch at the Radisson at the Hyatt Regency...They always have an excellent spread, and we don't have to cook!
Beautiful Thanksgiving flowers from my thoughtful family...Please overlook the messy dining room table!
A plain rug, a little paint, and six willing hands made up this year's Thanksgiving craft for Mamaw Teina and Big Paw from the grand kids. (This was an idea in Family Fun years ago!)
The Christmas season has officially started at the Whaleys! (And no, I didn't brave the massive crowds on Black Friday. My nerves can't take it anymore...)
We had a great Thanksgiving Day complete with eating out, a train exhibit, and the Fantasy of Trees. Yesterday was spent at home doing little projects here and there, playing, and decking the halls. (We just love, love, love these kind of days at home!) Later this afternoon, we are venturing out a bit with Tori and I doing a little Christmas shopping/window shopping at our local antique store and a Christmas shop that has opened downtown for the season.
Check back soon for the unveiling of the 2010 Christmas tree at the Whaley household!

Great pictures. I love the Fantasy of Trees. How fun! What a fabulous family activity. Can't wait to see the 2010 Christmas tree at the Whaley household. Bring it ON!
1) Yes, Santa DOES rock!
2) I MUST know where you got those boots for Tori. Good grief those are cute.
3) Love the holiday blog! And the XMas tree event!
4) Are you doing something different with your hair? It looks nice.
5) Looking forward to the holiday decor unveiling.
