Saturday in the Smokeys

Little mini golf pros
Worn out little mini golf pros...Once their bellies were full from dinner, they BOTH fell asleep while we were finishing our dinner!

At the beautiful gazebo at the restaurant...

Crowded but lots of fun...This described our time last Saturday in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. But, we hadn't celebrated Chris's birthday, so we headed for a day of fun at Davy Crockett Mini Golf and dinner at The Old Mill Pottery House. As you can see from the evidence above, the kids had a good time accented with awesome weather. Later we headed to the restaurant for the first time. The smell of homemade bread met you at the door and the decor is log cabin/lodge lovely with pottery everywhere. You even eat a wonderfully delicious meal on pottery made on site. Hey, even right next door is a great jewelry shop called Sassafras. (And you know how I love jewelry!) So if you live in our area and are a costume jewelry fiend like me, you need to pay them a visit. I promise that you won't be disappointed in the prices or selection!

Thanks Mamaw Sandy and Paw Estel for the great afternoon!
