Cupcakes. . .Beach Style!

Cute cupcakes! And really simple to make!

Recreating the sand and shore with blue sugar and
Graham crackers. . .

Tori requested another after a swim in the pool tonight.

In honor of our trip and our family spaghetti dinner, I put together these cute cupcakes from familyfun.com.

You will need besides prepared iced cupcakes the following:
blue colored sugar (Target has containers of red and blue sugar in their dollar bins.)
crushed graham crackers
Fruit Striped gum
small colored gum balls
tropical drink umbrellas (I found mine at the Dollar Tree.)

Putting them together:
Put sugar and crushed Grahams on two plates. Coat one half of cupcake with sugar for the ocean and the other with crackers for the sand. If your cupcakes are regular sized like mine, half your stick of gum and fold like a beach chair. Place the gum ball and umbrella beside the "chair." These were a hit with the kids as well as the adults!

Check back tomorrow as we go on another Tee-Tee treasure hunt, have more seaside fun, and explore the island by bike!

Happy Memorial Day!
Cindy
