If Pink Roses Grow in Heaven . . .

If pink roses grow in Heaven
Lord, please pick a bunch for me.
Place them in my Aunt Sarah's arms
and tell her they're from me.

Tell her that I love her and will miss her,
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek
and hold her for awhile.

Because remembering her will be easy,
I'll do it every day,
but there's an ache within my heart
that will never go away.
We will miss you so much Aunt Sarah, but now you are at peace.  The world will miss your kindness, generosity,  love, and your sense of humor.  I know that you are up in Heaven right now celebrating with your mother and Donnie.  We love you!

I am so sorry for your loss. What a sweet post.

P.S. It's so nice to meet another diabetic! 30 years is a long time!! We are so blessed with great technology now!

Thinking of you today. My father in law is staying with us for the weekend. Loss is such a hard thing. I'd love to hear more about your Nancy Drew ideas when you have time, Cindy.

Extra hugs!!
