A Splashing Good Time at the Park

This is the only decent pic of the boys...They were just a blur when I viewed the photos I took of them in action.
The girls in action!!!
Piled up on bean bags, blankets, sleeping bags watching Despicable Me... One family even had their own minon in tow!
"It's sooo fluffy!!!"

As you can imagine, the kids in our neighborhood look for the evening (last Friday) when the black plastic slide goes down on the hillside and the movie screen goes up in the gazebo at our park. It's just a great time to settle down for a few hours and visit with our neighbors. Our other annual neighborhood event is our pumpkin party scheduled for the Sunday before Halloween. You can bet that Shelia, Jewel, and I are already scheming and planning! It's never too early to start preparations for Halloween...Right, Kim K.?

What a wonderful time! that waterslides looks like so much fun. I love it when communities get together to celebrate and enjoy each other's company.

I remember you talking about your summer neighborhood event last year. What a community building activity. I agree, it's never too early to start thinking about Halloween. Hugs!

How fun! We have movies in the park too, but no waterslide. The kids must just love it!
